Privacy at System Sports

System Sports uses account and access-request information to provide its invitation-only sports app.

Your account

Account information—including your username, email, optional name and profile photo—is stored with our PocketBase account service. Password authentication, Google sign-in, and Sign in with Apple are handled through that service. The iPhone app stores a sign-in token in the device Keychain when you choose Remember me.

Invitations and requests

When you request access, we store your name, email, optional message, selected platform, request time and approval status. The owner reviews requests. Requests submitted while signed in are linked to your account identifier, and the owner may approve that account directly. Invitation codes are stored as hashes and linked to the recipient email. Security rate limits temporarily use hashed network identifiers.

On your device

Favorites, picks, notification preferences and display settings are stored locally. Saved scores and other sports data are cached to improve loading. Notification permission is optional. The app fetches team and player media from the sports sources used by System Sports.

Access notifications

We keep request and approval notifications in an account-specific inbox. If you enable phone alerts, we store an Apple device token associated with your account and use Apple Push Notification service to deliver those alerts. Apple processes the token and notification payload. Lock-screen alerts do not include requesters’ email addresses or personal messages. Signing out, deactivating, or deleting your account removes its device registration. Notifications remain available in the app if alerts are off or delayed.

Services and diagnostics

Our services are hosted on Fly.io. They process requests and operational logs needed to serve the app, maintain reliability and prevent abuse. We do not add advertising trackers to this website. Sports data and predictions are informational.

Apple sign-in

Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose Hide My Email. We verify Apple authorization on our server and store the refresh token encrypted so we can revoke Apple authorization when you delete your account. The Apple identifier links your sign-in to your System Sports account.

Deactivating your account

Deactivation pauses access and ends existing sessions. Your account, access approval, and account data remain saved. Sign in again and explicitly choose Reactivate to return. Deactivation does not delete your data.

Deleting your account

You can request permanent account deletion from Account & Settings in the app, or from the invitation screen if your account is awaiting access. Deletion removes your account and its access records. Local app data can be removed by deleting the app from your device. For an access-request question, submit your account email through the request form and put your request in the message field so the owner can review it.
